"First Day, Worst Day" — Shift Happens Jamal walks into his first shift at Shady Pines convinced it's going to be smooth sailing. It isn't. He fumbles the orange juice pitcher and douses the breakfast table trying to pour a resident's cup. He asks Patty what he can do to help — she shuts him down with a look and a firm "don't touch the medicine cart." And just when he thinks the damage is done for the day, state inspectors walk through the front doors, and Jamal freezes on the spot, completely lost on what to do next. Some days you learn the job.
