In total, there were 7 colors; you can use any type of yarn, but it is important that all are of the same thickness to ensure uniformity in the work. Even following the instructions exactly as I did, these numbers may vary because it is a handmade work. Don’t forget to purchase enough yarn from the same batch to guarantee a uniform color throughout the piece. HOW TO ADAPT THE BORDER FOR OTHER SIZES? Just count the total number of single crochets on the side of the rug. Take the total, subtract 15 stitches, and divide the remainder by 9. If there are leftover stitches, just make loops skipping 1 more stitch. In my rug, for example, when dividing by 9, there were 3 leftover stitches and so I made 3 loops skipping 1 more stitch in each of them. Couldn’t adapt?
