Miscarriage story at 15ish weeks and how I handled it

Many women have miscarriages but not a lot share their experience. when I had my miscarriage I googled what to expect and didn't find many people telling exactly what happens. I was slightly afraid not knowing. I hope this helps someone going through it or having gone through it in the past. Also, I forgot to mention that another negative effect was that I bled for 2 whole months afterward... I wondered when it would ever stop... and it finally did eventually. Everyone's body is different and mine clearly took a long time to heal. About a week after going back home, I had a mass of tissue come out as well that seemed abnormal but it was probably just some more placenta that was missed during the hospital stay that day. Also, my periods went back to normal after those first two months. They've been regular the past 10 months....which might answer the question of if I got pregnant again after this whole ordeal. I did not/have not. To be honest, I'm a little afraid of it happening again. It's amazing that while pregnant our baby is the closest to us that they will ever be and we have the least amount of control.
