SUN SURF Brand Director Yoshihiro Nakano Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1975, Nakano developed an interest in American casual style as a high school student. After graduating from university, he moved to Hawaii to collect aloha shirts. After returning to Japan, he sold aloha shirts while also making repeated trips to Hawaii with SUN SURF founder Koichi Kobayashi, researching the history of the aloha shirt.
