SAND: Raiders of Sophie | Forcing loot to respawn

I do game development, and many times I wonder which solutions studios come up with in their games. After noticing loot respawns quite fast, I did some tests to discover (some of) the respawn logic. My findings: Loot on shipwrecks respawns based on proximity (if you are far enough, jump off trampler on another shipwreck and interact with a loot chest) This is the same for the ghouls Ghouls might also respawn based on a timer, regardless if you are closeby or not I couldn't force cannons to respawn, but they did respawn after some time. Unsure about proximity How would I do it? I'd do something similar, but force everything on a timer. x minutes to respawn - no exceptions. This is because, just like what I did in the video, players can game the respawn mechanic to their advantage. Imagine if I did this with a shipwreck that had 2 red "very rare" crates just earlier.
