Scunthorpe United 2-1 Chester FC - NLN Play Off Final.

What a day from start to finish. We did it, after all the doom and gloom of late, watching us free fall due to off field issues. We’ve actually been promoted back to the National League. So happy for each and everyone connected to the club. Whether that be an owner, player, fan wherever in the world. We’ve actually been promoted in our 125th anniversary year. Get in!! Oh and all of that in a front of a new record crowd at Glanford Park too, 9086 I think it was. Massive credit to the Scunthorpe and Chester fans. When we’ve met in this past two seasons, we’ve constantly set new attendance records 👏👏 As for the game itself in a nutshell. Great first half for Scunthorpe, great second half for Chester. Extra time winner for Scunthorpe. Pitch invasion, play stopped due to another pitch encroachment and legs over the wall. Lots of yellow cards. Then another pitch invasion after the final whistle. Lots of happy fans, players, staff and owners. What a day for the town and wider community 💪🏻 Oh and i was drained as I’m sure many others were too. Just watch the vlog, it’s a long one.
