Nel 1969 gli Ethiopians pubblicarono per l’etichetta Bird Music del produttore JJ Johnson “Hong Kong Flu” brano dedicato all’influenza omonima che colpì il mondo tra il 1968 ed il 1969. Fu una pandemia influenzale di origine aviaria, che influenzò tutto il mondo facendo circa un milione di morti. Scavando tra i vinili della nostra amata musica troviamo risposte a qualunque problema, anche questa volta la storia si ripete e oggi vogliamo rispolverare questo brano registrato a distanza nel rispetto della quarantena per dirvi che anche questa brutta pagina della storia passerà e saremo più forti ed uniti per fare di nuovo festa insieme. Magari in futuro qualcuno se ne ricorderà per giusto il tempo di una canzone. In 1969 the Ethiopians released, on Bird Music label of producer JJ Johnson,"Hong Kong Flu", a song dedicated to the flu outbreak that hit the world from 1968 to 1969 It was a pandemic avian flu which affected the world with about one million deaths worldwide. Digging through the vinyls of our beloved music we find answers to any problem, this time history repeats itself and today we want to dust off this remotely recorded song in compliance with the quarantine to tell you that even this ugly page of history will pass and we will be stronger and more united to party together again. Maybe someone will remember this for just the duration of a song.
