Self Driving Car with CARLA-ROS2 : Episode -2| COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM |Automatic Breaking | AEB

In this episode we will add collision avoidance feature to the vehicle. It also covers Automatic Emergency Breaking(AEB). In this we are purely using image data from the vehicle for detection and prediction. Which covers, 1. How to add custom sensor to ego vehicle with custom object description file. 2. Accessing sensor data from node (image data). 3. Building a collision avoidance system node purely using vision/image data. 4. Adding control algorithm in the node to control the vehicle based on the collision prediction. 5. Testing the collision avoidance system with another vehicle in the simulator. 6. Launching all nodes from a single terminal with a Master launch file.
