Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam, located in Ban Tha Dan, Hin Tang Subdistrict, Nakhon Nayok Province, is the longest roller-compacted concrete dam in Thailand and the world, with a total length of 2,720 meters and a height of 93 meters. It was built according to the royal initiative of King Rama IX to mitigate flooding and store water for use during the dry season, receiving water from Khao Yai National Park via Haew Narok Waterfall.
