FISHING For JEWFISH/MULLOWAY Urunga, And PB TREVALLY!!!

It was a shame the 30kn SE wind kicked in early this morning, it was shaping up to be a good day's fishing, but I was blowen off the water within an hour and a half. Managed to hook into a nice school jew (Mulloway) around the bridge pylons on a Zman curly tail, then found a good sized GT (giant trevally) caught on a Zman slim swim which took me 12 minutes to land on 8 pound and went 68cms. There was plenty of bait fish around and the fish seemed to be feeding well but the wind gods were angry, lol. Fishing from a kayak is not a lot of fun in strong winds.
