A report on the visit of the Żnin-based Px38-805 steam locomotive to the French town of Pithiviers. The town near Paris is 1,500 km from Żnin. The locomotive participated in the 25th International Narrow Gauge Railway Meeting, held annually in a different European city. In Pithiviers, it was decided that the next such event in 2017 would be held on the Znin County Railway. We show the renovation of a bridge on the currently disused route through the park in Żnin. Volunteers from Germany participated in the work. The annual awarding of the title of "Honorary Ambassador of Polish Railways" – this year, the KOLEJWIZJA editorial team selected the Żnin commune as the recipient. Report on the visit of the Znin-based Px38-805 locomotive to the French town of Pithiviers. This town, in the surroundings of Paris, is located 1,500 km from Znin. The Polish steam locomotive participated in the XXV International Meeting of Narrow Gauge Railways managed every year at a different European railway. In Pithiviers it was decided that the next such event in 2017 will be held at Znin County Railway. We show the renovation of a bridge being part of a currently inactive rail section leading through the park of Znin. German volunteers participated in this job. The annual awarding of the title "Honorary Ambassador of Polish Railways" - this year the editors of KOLEJWIZJA chose as the winner the commune Znin. Bericht vom Besuch der Zniner Dampflok Px38-805 in der französischen Stadt Pithiviers. Diese Stadt in der Nähe von Paris liegt 1500km von Znin entfernt. Die polnische Dampflok nahm am 25. Internationalen Treffen der Schmalspureisenbahnen teil, die jedes Jahr in einer anderen europäischen Stadt ausgerichtet werden. In Pithiviers wurde beschlossen, dass das entsprechende Treffen 2017 auf der Zniner Kreisbahn stattfinden wird. Wir zeigen die Reparatur einer Brücke, die als Teil eines derzeit nicht befahrenen Streckenabschnittes der Bahn durch den Park in Znin führt. An den Arbeiten hatten deutsche Freiwillige Anteil. Jedes Jahr vergibt die Redaktion von KOLEJWIZJA den Title "Ehrenbotschafter des polnischen Eisenbahnwesens". Dieses Jahr fiel die Wahl auf die Gemeinde Znin.
