Depending on whether our attachment was secure or not, a relational pattern will be ingrained within us that will condition a large part of our lives, or even our entire lives if this relational pattern is largely insecure. Approximately 50% of the population benefits from a secure attachment, which provides them with a solid and healthy foundation for understanding the world and others. But the other half will have to cope with a fundamental lack of trust in themselves, others, and life, which will hinder their ability to act and their resilience to varying degrees. The three styles of insecure attachment are anxious, avoidant, and disorganized attachment. Anxious attachment is a relational pattern created by emotional instability in the environment, preventing the child from developing essential self-confidence. This results in individuals who, overall, become overly attached to others and lack self-confidence. In this video, Gwenaëlle Persiaux, psychotherapist and author of "Healing Attachment Wounds" and "Cut Off from Others, Cut Off from Yourself," explains in detail how anxious attachment develops, its characteristics, and how to build a secure attachment!
