Learning To Embrace What There Is By Letting It Go in Central Park

I recorded this in 2025 on a very clear sunny day in NYC Central Park with a light heart. To be honest, it was very freeing to speak so candidly about a sensitive topic. Carrying the weight of others' guilt of mishandling you through your development phase of life can really shift your outlook on life and the world in general. Mine was changed from such a young age, and admittedly, from going back and forth to therapy over the years, I have spoken about it less than a handful of times. Coming from the family I do, there were pressures on me to be emotionally sound, so there is embedded anxiety in me on a daily basis. This right here though, the strength to get in camera and share is from going to random groups of those who have suffered with substance abuse (marijiana is no drug) learning how to embrace myself in ways I allowed circumstances to place barriers. Including fear. Not today. Not again. Be Well 🪷
