🌺 SANTA MARIANA: Su SANGRE se Volvió AZUCENA Blanca - Azucena de Quito 😱

Blessed family! 🌺😱 Quito, Ecuador, May 26, 1645. Mariana, dying, was 26 years old. Blood was shed in the garden by the wall of the house. The next day, at dawn, they were astonished. In the exact spot where the blood fell, a beautiful, miraculous, pure white lily had grown. The blood of the holy virgin transformed the lily into a celestial, divine, incredible, and unique white lily. This is the story of Saint Mariana de Jesús de Paredes, Lily of Quito, who was born in 1618 in Quito, Ecuador, into a noble Spanish family. At four years old, she was orphaned when both parents died in an epidemic. Her sister cared for her, and her brother-in-law treated her harshly. From childhood, she showed extraordinary piety and extreme penances: she slept on the ground, fasted on bread and water for seven years. At twelve, she began a life of penance and constant prayer, living simply, offering everything to Christ. At fifteen, she fashioned a crown of thorns from real Andean plants, placed it on her head, and wore it constantly under a veil, hidden from everyone's knowledge. She had frequent mystical visions of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, and her guardian angel; she levitated in ecstasy and prayed. In the year 1645, Quito suffered terrible earthquakes and an epidemic plague. On March 24, during a procession, she fell to her knees and cried out, "Lord, accept my life and salvation! Quito, take me as a victim!" God accepted her offering, and the earthquakes ceased immediately. Mariana became gravely ill and died peacefully on May 26, 1645. At twenty-six, she shed blood in a garden, and the next day, a beautiful white lily grew in the exact spot where the blood fell. This famous miracle is known as the Lily of Quito. beatified 1853 canonized 1950 Ecuador's first national patron saint. 🌺😱⛪ 00:00 - Introduction 02:18 - Tragedy came soon, terrible, unexpected, cruel 04:23 - To you, my savior, I fasted rigorously 06:28 - Quito is a sinful city, it needs atonement 08:35 - At night I slept with it on, never 10:39 - He spoke to her directly, lovingly, tenderly 12:44 - Years of life of penance Quito suffered 14:49 - From that moment earthquakes ceased completely 16:53 - You could have lived a normal life like others 18:58 - Dawn of May 27th, Jerome emerged 21:08 - Supernatural, radiant, celestial, divine, as if 23:14 - It began relatively soon after death, but 25:22 - Blood was carefully preserved and venerated 27:29 - No one knew of Jesus' frequent mystical visions 29:43 - Personal sacrifice, blood, lily, miracle Unique 🔥 WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER: • The famous miracle of her blood turning the lily white • Why she was orphaned at four years old • The extreme penances she performed as a child • How she wore a crown of thorns hidden under a veil • The mystical visions of Christ the Virgin had • Why she offered her life to save Quito • How she stopped an earthquake with personal sacrifice • Why she died at only twenty-six years old • Why Azucena of Quito is the first saint of Ecuador 🌺 ORPHANED GIRL Quito, Ecuador 1618 Mariana was born into the noble Spanish family De Paredes Flores on October 31st to pious Christian parents. She was a weak, delicate, and sickly child, but strong-willed. At approximately four years old, both parents died suddenly when an epidemic struck Quito. Mariana was left an orphan alone. Her older sister, Jerónima, married and took in the young girl. "You will live with me, sister," she said, but her brother-in-law, Cosme, did not want the orphaned girl. He treated her harshly: "You are a useless burden, you eat our bread, you are good for nothing, you weak, annoying girl." Mariana suffered rejection, silence, offering her suffering. "God Jesus, I love you, I accept the cross as you did." From childhood, five years old, she showed extraordinary piety. She spent hours praying alone in a corner of her house. Around seven years old, she began to do penances. She slept on the hard, cold floor, stones, and a pillow. She fasted rigorously on bread and water only. "Jesus slept in a manger. I can sleep on the floor for love of you." Her brother-in-law noticed Mariana ate almost nothing. "Why don't you eat? Are you sick, crazy? I'm not hungry. A little is enough." Secretly, she offered hunger to sinners' souls. ⛪ CROWN OF THORNS. Around fifteen years old, Mariana did something extraordinary, unique, and very rare: she made a real crown of thorns. She crafted a crown of real thorns from Ecuadorian Andean plants. The long, sharp, pointed thorns were placed on her head under a veil. She always wore it, completely covering her hair. No one saw the hidden crown. The thorns pierced her scalp, causing constant pain. Christ wore a crown of thorns when he was mocked and scourged. "I wear a crown of love for the reparation of sins." She wore the crown constantly, day and night, slept in it, never taking it off except to wash. The pain was unbearable, terrible, constant, intense migraines. But Mariana remained silent, someti...
