Rescuers Found 16 Baby Bears Trapped in a House

In Vientiane, Laos, rescuers found sixteen tiny moon bear cubs inside a private house during a police raid. The cubs were far from the forest, separated from their mothers, and too young to survive on their own. They were taken to the Luang Prabang Wildlife Sanctuary, run by Free the Bears, where they received milk, warmth, veterinary care, protection, and a second chance. This rescue became one of the largest recorded rescues of threatened bear cubs.
