ABANDONED MEDIEVAL VILLAGE IN PORTUGAL If you like abandoned places, you will love this place that we did a visit and exploration of an abandoned medieval village in Portugal, called Aldeia de Broas, in Mafra, Portugal. Generally, Portuguese villages had a small local church, however, this village was so small that it did not even have a church. The last inhabitant to leave the village is still alive and does not miss living in precarious conditions. It is possible to notice a tree surrounded by stone benches in the center of the village, where the inhabitants used to gather to chat in the old days. Despite time having destroyed most of what was left, we were glad to see few graffiti.
