17: Our hot water system keeps our house cool in summer

We use a heat pump hot water cylinder for our domestic hot water. This video is about how it works for us in winter and summer. In summer it helps cool our house by transferring the heat from the air inside our house to our hot water cylinder. In winter, we use the back up immersion heater on a cheap night-time tariff. Eventually we'll get an air to air heat pump for heating and will experiment with a two-stage heat pump set up for hot water over winter.
