SMWG || A Manifestion in the Mud || Dr. Oliver Williams

This week’s Grace Church livestream opened with a strong atmosphere of worship, gratitude, and reverence as the church lifted up the name of Jesus, shared the mission and vision of Grace Church, prayed together, and observed Holy Communion. The service carried a grateful, first-Sunday tone, with songs and exhortations centered on the blood of Jesus, thanksgiving, and the assurance that what Christ has done was done personally and purposefully for His people. As the service moved into the Word, Pastor Dr. Oliver Williams preached from Acts 9:43 and delivered a message titled “A Manifestation in the Mud.” He challenged the church to recognize that God still moves in uncomfortable, messy, and unexpected places, and that what feels like a dirty place may actually be a place of development, assignment, and manifestation. The message pressed believers to stop resisting God’s updates, trust His movement, and keep doing the work even when the place does not look ideal. #love #live #gospelofhope #godlovesyou #whengraceprays Timestamps 0:00 Five-minute countdown 0:05:00 Opening worship / Music Ministry 0:10:10 Welcome and transition into service 0:11:12 Mission and vision statement 0:12:19 Scripture reading: Psalm 113:1–3 0:12:49 Opening prayer 0:14:10 Communion exhortation begins 0:15:08 Communion 0:20:16 Music Ministry 0:29:26 Worship focus: “He’s My Savior” 0:36:26 Spontaneous worship emphasis: “Just for me” 0:42:10 Pastor transitions toward the sermon 0:45:13 Sermon text introduced: Acts 9 0:45:52 Scripture focus: Acts 9:43 0:46:26 Sermon 0:47:38 God’s updates and the church’s capacity to receive them 0:54:29 “What manifestation is housed in the place you don’t want to be in?” 0:56:15 Simon the Tanner’s house and the dirty place of assignment 1:03:16 God can still work while you are in a dirty place 1:15:00 The dirt is also a place of development 1:19:04 Tabitha’s death and calling the right people into the room CCLI License #22285299
