‘The Prime Minister is a liar’: Peta Credlin blasts Speaker over ‘protection racket’

Sky News host Peta Credlin accuses the Speaker of the House of shielding the Prime Minister after Albanese was called a liar. “A clear, unambiguous lie like that now has even the Speaker of the House running a protection racket,” Ms Credlin said. “The speaker appears to be changing his mind from yesterday to today. “So why this about-face from the Speaker? Yes, he's a Labor MP too, but he's generally regarded as a good speaker. “The Prime Minister lied. You have all heard it. He lied. The Prime Minister is a liar. “Unfortunately for him, I can't be shut down like the Speaker. Because I don't rely on the PM for my job as the Speaker does.”
