A Wild Day at Edinburgh Zoo! | Mother’s Day & Paige’s 10th Birthday Adventure This week, we hit the road for a special family day out to Edinburgh Zoo—celebrating Mother’s Day and Paige’s 10th birthday all in one! It was a long journey (7 hours round trip!) but so worth it. We had an amazing time exploring the zoo and spotting loads of animals—including the adorable baby hippo, Haggis! Paige absolutely fell in love with the Capybaras (no surprises there!). After the zoo, we headed into Edinburgh city centre for a bite at The Fat Hippo. Sadly, the food didn’t quite live up to the hype—pretty average burgers, if we’re being honest. Huge thanks to Give Us Time for gifting us the zoo tickets.
