Dr. Nagao's research team examined the state of their genes. These numbers indicate changes in genetic information. When graphed, the strongest reaction was an abnormality in the immune system. This suggests that the immune system was not properly regulated." Dr. Nagao's hypothesis is that the vaccine caused immune system abnormalities, spreading inflammation throughout the body and raising body temperature above 40°C.
