At its peak, it was lined with galleries, mounting shops, and stationery stores, serving as an important base for the Lingnan School of Painting. Masters like Guan Shanyue and Li Xiongcai once left their footprints here. In the 1990s, Wende Road officially gained its reputation as "Calligraphy and Painting Street," becoming one of the largest art distribution centers in Guangzhou and South China. 🖼️ Today's Scene Today, Wende Road still retains dozens of galleries, mounting shops, and stationery stores.
