HANNAH'S BOTTLE VILLAGE PEI | PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND, CANADA

Hannah's Bottle Village is a very creative, spectacular & photogenic hidden treasure! The creator, Gar Gillis, has done a tremendous job at putting this bottle village together. It has around 10 buildings and each named after his loved ones with a unique story and meaning behind it. Gar Gillis, a retired bus driver, made the first structure in 2002 which was Noah's Church after his grandson. After that, other family members also wanted structures named after them so Gar went on building more and more. Most of the bottles have come from neighbours and nearby Chowder restaurant. Hannah's Bottle Village is located in Point Prim, Prince Edward Island and it is only a one minute drive from Point Prim Lighthouse (Prince Edward Island's Oldest Lighthouse) and one minute drive away from the Point Prim Chowder House and Oyster Bar (#1 ranked restaurant overlooking the beach). Instead of charging admission, donations are collected and proceeds are donated toward the IWK Children's Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia to help fund lifesaving research and purchase hospital equipment.
