Smoking a Player’s Cigarette from Canada - Review

Smoking a Player’s Cigarette from Canada (Review), which is a premium priced full flavored product. Player's is a cigarette brand derived from the John Player brand family, which started as an English tobacco company in 1820, but wasn’t known as what we know it as today until 1877, when a man named JP bought the company, and renamed it after himself. In 1901, the brand, and company, merged with many other British companies to create the Imperial Tobacco Company, and from that point on, JP-made products continued to rise in popularity, supposedly reaching their peak in the UK in the mid-1900's. Within the UK, this brand is undoubtedly still popular, and is still owned by Imperial Tobacco as well. However, outside of the UK, in many markets, the JP name is instead owned by British American Tobacco, and supposedly, in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Gold Leaf is a dominant force to be reckoned with, which is quite interesting. Within Canada these days, Player's is owned and produced by Imperial Tobacco Canada, and is considered to be a premium brand due to its high pricing, but nonetheless, they appear to be more popular than not.
