June 23, 2026 One of the greatest battles in the Christian life is the struggle between our will and God’s will. In Judges 14:1–3, Samson saw something he wanted and insisted on having his own way, despite the counsel of his parents and God’s higher purpose. How often do we do the same? We pray for God’s guidance, yet pursue our own desires. We ask for His direction, yet resist His counsel when it conflicts with what we want. This message explores the dangers of self-will and the blessings that come from surrendering to God’s plan.
