I'm Afraid – Oingo Boingo / The Mystic Knights 1979
I'm Afraid – This is the first ever song released under the name Oingo Boingo, although it was mostly likely recorded as the Mystic Knights just before the change. It was played in Mystic Knights shows in '79 and kept through Oingo Boingo shows until early 1980. It’s probably the only Mystic Knights song that went unchanged as Oingo Boingo while others were given a new wave twist. This was released later that year on a compilation album of upcoming LA new wave bands, by which time the Mystic Knights had reformed as Oingo Boingo.
