Craig Ainsworth served as a Royal Marine, deploying to Afghanistan as part of an elite frontline unit. But the hidden scars of PTSD would stay with him long after leaving the military. Despite dedicating himself to helping others, Craig’s own trauma became too much and on 5th April 2025, he tragically took his own life. Now, his mother Sally is determined to share his story — raising awareness and fighting for better mental health support for veterans.
