Hotel Room Tour: Gaylord Opryland Hotel Nashville, Tennessee: Room G5099 Tour {Garden Conservatory}

Welcome to my Room Tour of Gaylord Opryland Hotel Room G5099 {Garden Conservatory, Floor 5, Rm. 099} Room Category is “Junior Suite, 2 Queen, Atrium View.” I have Lifetime Platinum status in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program and booked a standard 2 queen room but lucked out with an upgrade when I checked in. Opryland is pretty great about giving out free upgrades to Bonvoy members when available but those upgrades typically go from a regular room to an interior balcony - so better room placement but not up a room class. I had never stayed in a Junior Suite at Opryland before and it was incredible to have the extra space for our family of 3; it will be hard to stay here again without having it! My daughter decided she wanted to sleep on the sofa instead of in a queen bed and loved having "her own room" even though the living and bedroom spaces are open to one another. It is truly like having 2 hotel rooms in size and by far the largest balcony we've had at Opryland! This particular room is unique as it is classified as being in the "Garden Conservatory" but the balcony itself actually overlooks the Old Hickory Steakhouse in the Delta Atrium. We found the balcony placement to be the most private and largest we've had yet and while you could see into the back of house of Old Hickory (barely) the view of the light show above the fountains at night was spectacular and definitely a highlight.
