We are completely isolating the router itself onto its own private network, ensuring that no compromised devices on your home or guest networks can attack or even see it. 🛠️ What We Accomplish In This Video: The Ultimate Isolation: We move the router to its own exclusive network at 192.168.1.1, making it the only thing on that network. Setting Up Bridge 2 (BR2): We create a brand-new virtual bridge for your primary home network on a separate 192.168.20.1 subnet. Interface Reassignment: Learn how to move physical LAN ports 2, 3, and 4, along with your main 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi interfaces, over to the new home network. Net Isolation Feature: We activate Network Isolation to permanently block anyone on your main network from pinging or hacking into the router.
