Maliketh, The Black Blade NO HIT Elden Ring

Beast Clergyman and Maliketh, The Black Blade have such different move sets that it's a good strategy to use 2 different weapons for each phase. For phase 1, a strong weapon like a hammer or great hammer is good because Beast Clergyman is weak to physical damage. Also CragBlade Ash of war increases attack power and makes it significantly easier to break enemy stance (poise). Taking the repost to Beast Clergyman is not the best choice though because he will go immediately to phase 2 and you will start the fight in a random position of the arena instead of starting in front of him. For phase 2 a faster weapon is better to avoid Maliketh quick countermoves, so Bloodhound Claws are a good choice. Also, infused with Barbarian Roar Ash of war with Blood affinity enhances the passive blood loss buildup to 83!! The thing that made me understand how to beat Maliketh no hit was learning how to dodge the Destained Death attack when he creates a cloud of slashes with large AOE, which is the most difficult attack to avoid, but also the most punishable one. Just stay in font of him, let him trigger the Destained Death attack, dodge twice towards him to avoid the spins, and the punish him in the back. The bleed will do its job.
