Cantina del Taburno e La Fortezza

There is a region in Campania where heroic mountain viticulture meets a modern vision of winemaking. We are on the slopes of Mount Taburno, which, at 1,400 meters above sea level, offers an ideal microclimate for quality viticulture. It is here that Cantina del Taburno was founded in 1972. 300 members, caring for approximately 600 hectares of vineyards in the surrounding area, pass down ancient knowledge through the generations. But the volcanic rock of Taburno also lends aroma and strength to another local reality. We are talking about Cantina LA FORTEZZA, founded in 2009 by Enzo Rillo to enhance his homeland through the integration of vineyard and winery. La Fortezza, which extends over sixty hectares and produces approximately 800,000 bottles a year, focuses on promoting the great Campanian grape varieties, including Aglianico, Falanghina, Greco, Fiano, Piedirosso, Camaiola, and Barbera.
