As soon as I settled into the hotel, I couldn't resist going out. Even during that very short evening walk as darkness began to fall, I realized that there's something very different about this city that draws me in, something difficult to describe in words but soothes the soul. The tranquility of the streets, the historical atmosphere under the lights, managed to enchant me from the very first moment.
