Casting 54mm scale German Toy Soldiers from The Great Powers of the 1900's by Prince August.
Prince August released a new series during the mid to late April 2020 which starts with a 3 mould box set of the Germans. The series is titled The Great Powers of the 1900's. These are parade ground figures. There are lots of accessories that are interchangeable. In this video we test the moulds with Model Metal (alloy of lead, tin and bismuth), Standard Casting Metal (lead and tin alloy) and 5 Star Pewter (Mostly tin with a little zinc and antimony). The equipment used include basic casting accessories availabe in PA2000 accessories kit, a Super Snipper (flat sided snips), a digital thermometer and the Solder Melting Pot.
