Switch on subtitles for more information! On 1 May 2024, after an interruption of almost three years, the outer line of the Hanover Tram Museum in Wehmingen is back in operation. After the theft of the overhead contact line, electric operation with trams was no longer possible. It was only thanks to numerous generous donations and the dedicated work of the association's members that the historic trams were able to run across the fields again. My voluntary work at the Hanover Tram Museum is a nice change from my day-to-day work as a driver. I can drive old trams there in my free time - and maybe you can too!
