If you think the turbocharged Mazda6 is just another boring sedan, you're sorely mistaken! Relatively recently, D-segment sedans were experiencing a real heyday. Before the proliferation of crossovers, it seemed like anyone with any level of success dreamed of a Passat or Mondeo. This popularity led to the introduction of very peppy versions of these Passats and Mondeos, featuring large, powerful engines and quite impressive performance. However, the global financial crisis forced both consumers and automakers to adjust their plans. D-segment sedans remained popular, but their popularity changed entirely: they were now being purchased en masse by legal entities, not private individuals. And they weren't exactly keen on these "hot" versions. It seemed like the beautiful story had ended almost before it had begun. But then Mazda brought the "six" with a powerful turbocharged engine to Russia. On paper, it looks a lot like those hot sedans that were never given the chance to truly shine. But what's this Mazda6 really like?
