Langkat Women's Women's Association Holds Bouquet Workshop for Family Economic Development Stabat—To improve the people's economy for its members and the community, the Langkat Regency Women's Association (DWP) held a bouquet-making workshop using flowers, snacks, and banknotes in the Pattern Room of the Langkat Regent's Office, Stabat, on Wednesday (March 10, 2021). The workshop was opened by the Chairperson of the Langkat DWP, Mrs. Indra Salahuddin. It was attended by the Langkat DWP advisor, Mrs. Tiorita Terbit Rencana, along with administrators and heads of agencies and sub-districts throughout Langkat. The Chairperson of the Langkat DWP stated that this workshop is part of the monthly Langkat DWP meeting. "It is being held by the Langkat DWP Economic Division," she said. The purpose of the bouquet-making training, Mrs. Indra continued, is to equip Langkat DWP members with the knowledge and skills to improve the economic development of their families and the surrounding community. "Hopefully, this workshop will be helpful, especially amidst the COVID-19 pandemic," she hoped. Mrs. Indra added that this activity featured competent speakers in their fields to provide material and hands-on practical lessons, as well as easy tips for arranging bouquets. Meanwhile, the DWP Advisor expressed his appreciation for this activity. "I would like to thank the DWP management for organizing this event," he said. He hopes it will enhance the skills and knowledge of DWP members, enabling them to increase their family income through their skills. "Once they are proficient, I will promote my products through social media for marketing," he said. He also advised the Langkat DWP members to always adhere to health protocols wherever they are, including during this workshop. The workshop also included "happy otak" (brain games). In addition, the DWP Chair and Advisor visited the participating DWP members. The wife of the Langkat Regent also held a quiz, with those who answered the questions being awarded a bouquet of banknotes.
