Luke and Reid - Eyeflirting, Best Smiles (LuRe-Ruke ATWT Highlights from April 8, 2010)

There's a thread on Reid's smile going on at the LROnline boards that made me think of this clip - my favorite Reid smiles, and among my favorite LuRe scenes overall, so I thought I'd excerpt just this section for me to enjoy - hope some of you other LuRe fans will squee along with me. From HappyinChintz's part 33 which aired April 8, 2010). Highlights: 0:24 - Luke convincing Reid to look at his ideas (it'll take just one second!) 0:55 - Luke: That's just about the nicest thing you've ever said to me (doofiest grin ever) 1:00 - Eye flirting and great smiles (attention TPTB - we want more of these!) - esp. Reid's last bit of eye contact before Luke looks up at Noah! Then #@*$&^#@ing Noah interrupts with: "What'd I miss?" 1:12 - And MORE eye flirting and smiles - with Noah right there! 1:25 - Innocent dialogue while sparks are wildly exploding! Then, Noah: Okay, now what'd I miss? 1:34 - "Um, nothing!" 1:59 - The look Reid gives Luke when he puts a hand upon Noah's shoulder before going to take Lily's call ("wish it were me" much?) 2:19 - Reid: "Every day a new hell" 2:22 - Reid's little almost-smile as he looks over at Luke on the phone. Dang, never mind highlights - I should've just listed the whole script for this scene. 0:08 - One thing I didn't notice is that even way back then, is the angsty Reid/Luke conversation pattern. Before Luke even has a chance to say anything, this whole clip starts with defensive Reid jumping in with "I understand you did it for Noah's sake and not for mine." Except that's not at all what Luke was going to say! Sound familiar, boys? Get over it and move on already! -LL P.S.
