Legendary Radio Station WBAI Now in Brooklyn| BK Stories

WBAI is the vanguard of lefty radio in New York City and has the history to prove it. Amy Goodman, Yoko Ono, John Lithgow, John Goodman, Bob Dylan all got their start at radio station. Currently the station, at 99.5 FM, is home to 200 volunteer producers, and features call-in shows, talk shows, classical music shows, and the oldest hip hop show in New York. Thanks to Hurricane Sandy, the 56 year-old station moved to Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.
