NYC Book Talk with Joe Sacco!

Join us for a book talk with acclaimed graphic journalist Joe Sacco cosponsored by Jewish Currents. Joe will be in conversation with Sunita Viswanath of Hindus for Human Rights and Alex Kane of Jewish Currents. The event will occur on May 13th from 6:30pm-9pm at The People's Forum. Sacco's latest book, The Once and Future Riot, is about a communal riot that took place in Muzzafarnagar, India in 2013. Since Joe has been prolific on the subject of Palestine, this book on India is an opportunity to see the connections between between Hindu nationalism and Zionism -- and the wars and violence they cause -- through his eyes. Mr. Sacco has another book coming out this fall called Requiem in Gaza, with Chris Hedges. Once and Future Riot will be available for sale and signing.
