How Amiga Games Work - Episode 47 - Soccer Kid
I examined the 1993 Amiga platformer Soccer Kid by Krisalis with the new Engine9000 debugger tool by alpine9000 which can be downloaded for free here https://github.com/alpine9000/engine9... With Soccer Kid centered around the World Cup and with World Cup 2026 getting started I thought it would be a great time to look at the technical tricks of this classic Amiga game. Soccer Kid uses the copper a lot for additional colors and graphics and has a great 50 fps engine.
