In this episode, we explore the conditions in Java towards the end of the Majapahit era, when trade flourished, Javanese culture reached its peak, and Islam began to emerge through trade routes and the exemplary practices of Islamic scholars. Why did the spread of Islam in Java proceed peacefully? Why was culture not destroyed, but instead became a path for the spread of Islamic values?
