In this video, we will learn the seven-step formula to convert a direct speech to indirect speech where Reported Speech is in the exclamatory form. What is Exclamatory Sentence? An exclamatory sentence expresses strong emotions or feelings. They end with an '!' mark. Two types: 1. only a single word 2. Full-sentence Seven Steps to convert a direct speech to indirect speech in case of exclamatory sentence Step 1: Identify step 2: Change of Reporting Verb step 3: Replacement of a comma and inverted comma with the conjunction 'that' step 4: Change of pronoun Step 5: Change of Tense Step 6: Change of Time Denoting words Step 7: Convert an exclamatory sentence to assertive Exercise : He said, "Hurray!
