Warm and lazy summer days in Oslo! A slow morning with coffee, a visit to a café in town to have pastry with my friend, cooking Pasta Carbonara for dinner with Mr. J, playing in Vålerenga Park with Mochi, and spending time in our garden on a warm summer evening. PASTA CARBONARA for two (This recipe is quite forgiving, so we don't usually measure the ingredients) Spaghetti Roughly two handful of bacon bits 2 cloves of garlic 3 - 4 egg yolks and one whole egg Roughly one handful of grated Parmesan Pepper Butter for frying 1. Heat some butter, then add the garlic and bacon. Fry till the bacon is cooked 2. Mix 3 egg yolks with one whole egg. Add the Parmesan and some pepper 3. Cook the spaghetti. When it's ready, add it to the bacon and garlic. Mix it and allow it to cool a bit. (If it's too hot, the egg will scramble when you add the mixture) 4. Add the egg/parmesan mixture to the pasta. Mix well. Bon apetit!
