With its 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and approximately 213 hp, the Lotus Esprit Turbo S3 embodies the spirit of 1980s supercars. Weighing just over a ton, the mid-engined sports car accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.7 seconds. On the road, the Esprit impresses with razor-sharp handling and visually with its sharp wedge shapes, designed by Italdesign founder Giorgetto Giugiaro. And yet, it's almost forgotten.
