How To Run The Yankee Concept

The Yankee concept is by far the most widely used deep shot play in the NFL and college football. As you run the ball well, teams will jump into a 1-high safety look and this play can then be used to counter that. As such, this is best used from under center and with play action. There are a ton of different ways in which you can run this, but as long as you have the (1) clear out, the (2) deep over & (3) check down, you have a solid play.
