2026 ヤエン （イカ） 5　【新リールで狙うは　キロイカ】

This time, I went on a two-day, one-night fishing trip to a breakwater in southwestern Shikoku. This season, I bought a new lever brake reel for the first time in six years. ✌️ The two lever brake reels I had been using until now were working so well that I continued to use them, but I thought that if one broke, I wouldn't have a spare reel. This time, I bought a 23 Despina and had it fully modified by my regular customer, Bata. This time, I'm fishing with this new reel, aiming to catch a squid weighing over 1kg. I also got my first bite with the new reel, and successfully caught one. It wasn't my target squid of over 1kg, but it was a first bite and a first catch. On day one, I managed to catch 10 squid, including one over 1kg, the highest catch of the season. Please take a look at the first day's fishing trip. Day two will be covered in the next video. About the 23 Despina Handle The handle base shape (thread pitch) of the 16 Despina and many other Shimano and Daiwa reels is standardized under the H-2 standard, and many handles (single handles, double handles) are available. However, the handle base shape of the current 23 Despina and other reels has changed to the H-9 standard. Please note that previous handles will no longer be compatible. Libre handles appear to indicate compatibility using S1 or S2. For more information, please check the websites of Shimano, Yumeya, and the respective handle manufacturers. My new reel has the handle base replaced with an H-2, so I can use the previous H-2 standard handles.
