We paid top dollar for the French Quarter RV Resort — and spent our first night riding out a tornado watch while rain, lightning, and thunder hammered the RV. Oh, and there's a massive glowing lottery billboard right outside the windshield. Winning? Not tonight. French Quarter RV Resort sits steps from the French Quarter, which is genuinely convenient — but the interstate bridge behind our site and the price tag made this one of the most questionable RV park decisions of the trip.
