Suzuki V-Strom 1000 | Test (Deutsch)

The Suzuki V-Strom 1000 has long been a top choice for price- and quality-conscious adventure touring riders looking for something a bit smaller than 1200cc. The engine is fun to ride, the whole motorcycle feels very well-balanced, and it's easy to handle. It's also frequently recommended for taller riders, which I can confirm (apart from the windscreen turbulence, which I always find bothersome). Despite this, the bike isn't particularly tall. The V-Strom, which also performs well in many comparison tests, often achieving respectable but usually unremarkable results, impressed me a lot. However, it has a strong competitor from within its own brand in its smaller sibling, the DL 650, which is likely to be a worthy competitor for 80% of all riders in 80% of all situations. The test ride route was mainly in and around the Prechtal valley. If you enjoyed this, I'd appreciate a thumbs up, a comment, or a subscription. Thanks!
