Making Piano Bass Strings
Phil Taylor has been making piano bass strings for the past 35 years. The bass stringing machine is one of his own design, as is the software for performing the calculations. The method in which Phils strings are made removes the need to 'twist' the bass string when fitting it to the piano, producing a purer, longer-lasting tone.
