However, if you're more serious, you'll need a more sophisticated toolbox—a circular saw, jointer, planer, band saw, and a few other tools. The main component of this project is the router, which uses a Dimar router bit. The router bit, with its top bearing, follows the contours of the template. The template is attached tightly to the piece from above. This master class demonstrates various woodworking techniques, including sawing, planing, jointing, sanding, milling, and more. Any wood can be used to make this tray—oak, ash, smokewood, mahogany, as well as solid wood and veneer from other species. Processing is extremely simple. Making the tray doesn't take much time, but you get a truly handmade piece—a piece created from your own design (DIY), and this video tutorial clearly demonstrates this. For this project, you don't need a woodworking shop where furniture is made. You can do all the work yourself at home. Martyanov natural oil was used for the finish.
